The largest treasure hunt in Italy will involve the Orange Flag villages.
An exciting challenge that renews itself year after year, to discover, having fun, the small excellences of the inland, the villages certified with the Orange Flag, traveling the roads of the villages in search of stories, people, monuments, and little curiosities.
The Orange Treasure Hunt is organized by the Touring Club in collaboration with the Municipality of Montagnana. The largest treasure hunt in Italy is open to adults and children who will be involved in a six-stop journey to discover the deep and authentic identity of the territory and its resident communities, immersing themselves in the traditions, flavors, and history of the places.
To participate, just register your team on the dedicated website and get involved, to experience a Sunday different from the usual and discover fascinating and often little-known places. Upon registration, a small but precious digital gift will be received, the "Village Cookbook," with typical recipes from the Orange Flag villages, to bring true Italian excellence to the table.
New this edition are special stops in some municipalities that touch places related to Saint Francis of Assisi, on the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the saint's death, celebrated precisely on Sunday, October 4, the introduction of a passport that will be handed out at the end of the Orange Treasure Hunt, to be stamped each year as a testament to participation in the event, and an exclusive backpack delivered to the registered teams.
The Orange Treasure Hunt is open to everyone; participation requires a donation that will support the projects of the Italian Touring Club.
