On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2026, the University of Treviso offers a guided tour of the exhibition “The Collalto, Counts of Treviso. Documents from the Archives of the Czech Republic”, set up at the Civic Museum of Santa Caterina in Treviso.
The tour is dedicated to the history of the Counts of Collalto, a family deeply connected to Treviso and its territory. Through documents, images, and testimonies from the archives of the Czech Republic, the exhibition presents significant moments in the family's history and allows for an in-depth look at their connections with Treviso, Venice, and Central Europe.
During the guided tour, particular attention is given to the exhibited materials and the historical context in which the documents were produced. The tour thus provides an opportunity to read the archival testimonies as tools for reconstructing relationships, events, and connections developed over time between the Collalto family and various European territories.
The appointment takes place on Sunday, September 27 in the Clara Rosso Coletti Room of the Civic Museum of Santa Caterina.
The visit is organized by the University of Treviso.
