An opportunity to discover some places in Venice that are normally not accessible to the public, accompanied by volunteers and the Apprentice Ciceroni of the FAI.
Among the openings scheduled, the Gradenigo Garden in Santa Croce, a historic Venetian garden still owned by the family; Palazzo Gussoni Grimani Della Vida, on the Grand Canal, a sixteenth-century residence designed by Michele Sanmicheli and now home to the TAR; Palazzo Labia, overlooking Campo San Geremia, with the famous frescoes by Giambattista Tiepolo dedicated to the Stories of Antony and Cleopatra; the Olivetti Shop, designed by Carlo Scarpa, where architecture, materials, and design interact with the Olivetti machines displayed in the showroom spaces.
Finally, in Murano, the headquarters of the Experimental Glass Station opens, to closely explore the laboratories, tools, and research activities that accompany the glassmaking tradition of the island.
For some openings, access is reserved for FAI members or requires a reservation.
