You can experience Cittadella in a different way, thanks to our guided tour of the various cultural sites in the city.
Cathedral Museum: It houses a Pinacoteca, including the grandiose "Dinner at Emmaus," a Renaissance masterpiece by Jacopo Bassano. Inside, there are works of various kinds, painting, sculpture, and applied arts from different historical periods, starting from the 14th century.
Social Theatre: The elegant neoclassical facade is attributed to Giuseppe Jappelli, the author of the famous Caffè Pedrocchi in Padua. The splendid frescoes in the hall were created by Francesco Bagnara, the same artist who decorated the Theatre "La Fenice" in Venice.
Praetorian Palace: It was the seat of the Podestà during the time of the Most Serene Republic of Venice. Inside, there are frescoes of false upholstery with vertical bands, polychrome friezes, roundels, and medallions with portraits of illustrious figures from the past, as well as the ancient prisons of the Pretura.
The Walls of Cittadella and the Walkway: Cittadella is the only city in Europe to have a medieval Walkway, elliptical in shape and fully accessible. You can climb above the Walls at 15 meters high while admiring a unique panorama.
