CARLO E MASSIMO SEMENZA

The Carlo and Massimo Semenza hut (2020 m a.s.l.) is located in the high Val de Piera, in a sheltered position just a few dozen meters southeast of Forcella Laste, connecting through Val Sperlonga to Val Salatis.

From the imposing pass, there is a view of the Friuli mountains. It serves as a resting point along the High Routes of the Dolomites no. 6 and7 and is an excellent base for excursions, including skiing and snowshoeing, in the mountains surrounding the Alpago. The abundant blooms in early summer are particularly striking.

The kitchen offers typical mountain dishes.

A small library is available.
