Agriturismo Dai Caroni is located in the historic village of “Caroni,” at the foot of Monte Grappa, in a rural setting connected to the tradition of the Serenissima, when local laborers tended to the oak and beech forests destined for Venetian ships and stilt houses. Today, the ancient agricultural settlement has become a family-run agriturismo that combines hospitality, typical Venetian cuisine, and direct sale of local products.
The kitchen offers genuine dishes prepared with ingredients largely sourced from the farm: mixed cured meats and cheeses produced on-site, tagliatelle, risottos, and gnocchi dressed with seasonal products, chicken and rabbit cooked in a terracotta pot, mixed grill of pork and beef, and sides from the garden and forest. To conclude the meal, there are “de casada” desserts, including the historic “Torta Antonietta” and amaretto semifreddo, served to regular customers for over thirty years. The agriturismo is available to customize menus for occasions, parties, and corporate dinners upon reservation.
The agritourism accommodation features three rooms decorated in early 20th-century style: the single Girasole, the double Rosa, and the quadruple Papavero. All are equipped with a private bathroom with shower, bedding, air conditioning, TV, and free Wi-Fi; guests also have access to a common kitchen, available for a fee, and a large private parking lot. Breakfast is included, while half-board service is available upon request.
Completing the offer is the farm shop, open every afternoon, where you can purchase white asparagus from Bassano, cured meats, meats, processed vegetables, jams, biscuits, and flours, as well as the strategic location: from San Zenone degli Ezzelini, you can easily reach Bassano del Grappa, Asolo, Possagno, Monte Grappa, and the main Venetian art destinations.
