Le Case de Mura

Lidia and Flavio, a couple born and raised in Arson, have different professional paths but share a dream: to host tourists who seek the land, slow living, and to fill their eyes and hearts with nature and genuine connections. Stone by stone, the project has taken shape and is now available, destined to grow gradually, without haste, into a group of houses that has four centuries of history to tell: from the imposing stone wall that supports the courtyard, to the jobs that once supported the families living there, such as the cultivation of hemp for obtaining yarns and fabrics. As the families grew, it is evident from the walls that they added a piece of house or barn.

Since October 2020, we have adhered to the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (CETS), promoted by the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park. From the Park's website: "The central element of the CETS is the collaboration between all parties (public and private) interested in developing a common strategy and an action plan for tourism development."

The structure:

The refurbished part for welcoming tourists retains much of its original exterior appearance, while the interior offers all the comforts for a carefree vacation, embracing nature and slow living.

The two rooms: one on the first floor and one on the second, each have their dedicated bathroom in the corridor; the one on the first floor is equipped with a Jacuzzi hydro-massage shower. On the second floor, there is a balcony with a stunning panoramic view. The rooms and bathrooms are provided with all the linens that guests will find ready upon arrival. On the first floor, there is a spacious kitchen with everything needed for meal preparation. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, convection oven, gas stove, and dishwasher. There is also a comfortable sofa that can be converted into a double bed if needed, a TV, and a small library including texts and brochures dedicated to the surroundings and areas easily reachable from the structure, which is also equipped with a Wi-Fi modem. On the ground floor, in the boiler room, there is a washing machine available for guests and an iron.
