Sleeping at high altitude, surrounded by mountains
Sleeping at the Larici Refuge from Alessio means experiencing the mountain even when the hikers return to the valley. At 1,658 meters above sea level, amidst pastures, silence, and stunning views, the stay allows you to savor the authentic atmosphere of Cima Larici and to wake up directly in the heart of the nature of the Plateau.
The refuge has five recently renovated rooms, furnished in a warm and welcoming rustic mountain style. All have a private bathroom with shower: three are quadruple, one is double, and one can accommodate up to five people, for a total of 19 beds. There are therefore solutions suitable for families and small groups.
From the refuge, you can directly embark on walks, hikes, and mountain bike trails, and during winter, explore the area with snowshoes or ski touring. Just a few minutes away on foot is the Val Formica Ski Area. The stay can be complemented by the refuge's kitchen, with dinner and breakfast, to enjoy a complete mountain experience from sunset to wake-up.
About 5 minutes on foot away is the Val Formica Ski Area. During winter, the access road is cleared of snow, but efficient winter tires or chains are necessary; given the altitude, the refuge also recommends caution and experience when driving on snow-covered roads.
