The sixty-ninth edition of the Giant Spiedo returns this year to Pieve di Soligo in Piazza Caduti nei Lager, for three weekends rich in tradition and culture of the territory!
An unprecedented gastronomic event, allowing you to taste the culinary specialty par excellence of this territory: the spiedo from Alta Marca, made with quail. In addition to the spiedo, the themed evenings propose numerous mouth-watering dishes: from the menu based on wild boar, to the spiedo of roosters, and there is also a night dedicated to pork shanks.
The celebrations continue every evening thanks to musical entertainment: lots of excitement and fun await you with live music. Many musical proposals are scheduled, from pop music to rock music to R&B music.
Among the collateral initiatives, don't miss the historic tug-of-war competition between the neighborhoods of Trevisan and Contà, now in its forty-second edition, and the spiedo competition: the best chefs will compete in the cooking of this dish. To conclude the celebrations, on the last day the historic lighting of the sixty-ninth Giant Spiedo from the Guinness World Records is planned.
