Architects

The Architects are a British band formed in Brighton in 2004 by twins Dan and Tom Searle. With Sam Carter on vocals and a songwriting ability that combines power, precision, and great emotional impact, the group quickly establishes itself as a reference in modern metalcore, evolving over time towards an increasingly broad and “big stage” language.

After a more technical and angular debut, the turning point comes with “Lost Forever // Lost Together” (2014), a work that opens a more melodic and cinematic phase and consolidates the band on an international level. In subsequent albums, Architects refine a formula that alternates breakdowns and granite riffs with airy choruses and memorable vocal lines, keeping existential, social, and generational themes at the forefront.

In 2016, the passing of Tom Searle marks a turning point: the band decides to continue, transforming pain into an artistic journey of rare intensity. "Holy Hell" (2018) thus becomes a symbolic album of resilience and catharsis, while Dan Searle’s writing guides a new creative phase without betraying the original identity.

With “For Those That Wish to Exist” (2021), Architects reach a historic milestone, attaining number 1 in the UK album chart, and confirming a constant growth even on the mainstream level, without sacrificing credibility and sonic ambition.
