A timeless classic returns to enchant the audience at CortinAteatro. Cin-Ci-La, the famous operetta by Carlo Lombardo and Virgilio Ranzato, celebrates its centenary with a new production by the Corrado Abbati Company: elegant, lively, and surprisingly contemporary.
Set in an exotic and fairy-tale Macao, the story follows the young newlyweds Ciclamino and Myosotis, heirs to the throne, as the kingdom awaits an heir who is slow to arrive. The fortunes will change with the arrival of the brilliant Parisian couple Cin-Ci-La and Petit-Gris, amidst misunderstandings, irony, and plot twists leading to a happy ending.
On stage: Antonella Degaspari (Cin-Ci-La), Sara Intagliata (Myosotis), Kang Hyunwook (Ciclamino), Luca Mazzamurro (Petit-Gris), Fabrizio Macciantelli (Fon-Ki), Matteo Catalini (Blum).
The show comes to life thanks to the direction of Corrado Abbati, the musical direction of Alberto Orlandi, and the choreography of Francesco Frola, accompanied by the Regional Orchestra Filarmonia Veneta, the Ballet of Parma, and the Rapsody Choir directed by Gregorio Pedrini.
An engaging show, combining music, dance, and timeless lightness.
