Illasi is one of the most well-known and appreciated municipalities in the Veronese hills. Nestled at the foot of the homonymous Castle, Illasi is especially valued for its history, its precious historical monuments and Venetian villas, as well as for its agricultural products, such as the Valpolicella DOP Olive Oil, Valpolicella DOC red wine, and Soave DOC white wine.
The ideal opportunity to discover this small town is to participate in “Corrillasi”, a running event organized by Gruppo Marciatori Valdillasi that combines tourism, culture, history, art, and sport. The event, now in its 19th edition, features three different routes appreciated for their charm and the natural, historical, and artistic beauties that can be admired along the way.
On Sunday, March 8, participants are expected to gather in Piazza Polonia at 7:30 AM, with the departure at 8:00 AM, allowing for three different undulating routes of 7 / 12 / 18 km. The event is open to everyone.
The competitive CSI 10 km road race requires gathering at 8:00 AM for bib and chip collection, while the start will be at 9:30 AM.
