The “Urban Impressionism” tour continues: after passing through the stages of numerous Italian and European cities, new stops are added in the theaters: on January 24, the elegant and intimate atmosphere of the Teatro Nuovo will host the Verona date of Dardust's tour.
Pianist, producer, and one of the most influential and awarded composers, Dardust brings his very personal and innovative style to live performances, redefining the boundaries between classical and contemporary music and creating unconventional atmospheres in perfect balance between piano and electronics.
Urban Impressionism is the fifth studio album by the musician from Marche, produced by himself in collaboration with Giuseppe Vitale “Ze in the clouds.”
Dardust expressed his thoughts about his latest work with these words:
“In the realm of so-called neoclassical music, there is often a sort of distrust and reluctance towards the protagonist melody: we Italians, however, come from there, from melody. I wanted to start from the bare and raw piano, to write the pieces independently from the electronic grid, which in the past I used almost to hide, even loading my tracks with layers: the need was to make it clear that it wasn't just background music”
The artist also shared the meaning of the album and its dedication to urban peripheries and rural contexts.
