As part of the regional policies for enhancing and promoting sustainable tourism, the River Tourism Day will take place in Veneto on April 18-19, 2026, an initiative aimed at promoting river tourism as a form of integrated, slow, and environmentally friendly tourism.
The River Tourism Day aims in particular to:
- promote soft and intermodal mobility;
- support the off-season distribution of tourist flows;
- enhance historical river centers and protected natural areas;
- promote the knowledge and protection of river and lagoon ecosystems.
