International exhibition curated by Francesca Valente and Jean Blanchaert featuring over 40 works of art and glass design born from the collaboration between Murano glass masters and great contemporary artists from around the world.
More than an exhibition, it is an intergenerational journey, animated by collaboration and contamination between artisan knowledge and artistic research; an ambitious project, born in 2009 from an extraordinary insight by Adriano Berengo and established over the years as a global showcase dedicated to the role of blown glass, casting, and lampworking in art and design.
Between the ground floor, the portico, and the hypogeum of Palazzo Thiene, a surprising itinerary unfolds, constantly suspended between a global dimension and deeply local roots. The exhibition showcases not only the absolute centrality of the excellence of the great glass masters of Berengo Studio in Murano but also the presence of exquisitely Venetian artists like Monica Bonvicini and Massimo Lunardon, complemented by those such as the Modenese Ornella Cardillo, who has chosen Venice as her city of adoption. An exhibition path that captivates with the presence of the most prestigious contemporary global artistic scene.
