Is music the genius loci of Asolo? A little spirit ‘Allegro con brio’ that colors and makes every corner of the enchanting town nestled among the gentle Treviso hills shine. In this medieval village where time seems suspended and even silence gains value, for almost half a century September has been filled with notes.
The International Chamber Music Festival ‘Incontri Asolani’ now in its 48th edition is promoted by Asolo Musica – Veneto Musica, and will take place from 4 to 16 September between the Church of San Gottardo and the Duse Theatre.
The chosen venue for the four concerts is the enchanting architectural jewel of the Church of San Gottardo, built on Lombard remains.
The last event, the fifth concert on the schedule, is at the Duse Theatre, the municipal theatre named after the actress par excellence, the Divine.
