International Scledum Film Festival

From Friday, July 31 to Sunday, August 2 the Palazzo Toaldi Capra in Schio will host the International Scledum Film Festival, an international cultural event that celebrates the central role of costume in cinematic storytelling. 

Set in Schio, a city with a long textile tradition in the heart of Veneto, the festival promotes an innovative and multidisciplinary approach to visual storytelling through selected screenings, thematic parades, exhibitions, masterclasses with industry professionals, and meetings with exceptional guests. 

The festival is curated by a multidisciplinary team of experts in directing, styling, set design, artistic production, and cultural communication. Its aim is to create a concrete platform for meeting among professionals, foster the emergence of new talents, and enhance cinema as a total aesthetic experience. 

On the occasion of the second edition, the festival offers a calendar of free activities for cinema and audiovisual professionals: two masterclasses with nationally prominent guests, two thematic panels, and two days of professional speed dating. All activities are free admission and by reservation, until seats are filled.
