The unique event in the area of greatest landscape interest at the mouth of the largest river in Italy.
The amateur sports association GLI EPICI, organizes on the days of Friday 17, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October 2025 (with the gathering of participants on the evening of Thursday 16 October) the Epic of Water, a playful walking event of about 100 km in three stages that takes place in the Po Delta Veneto, crossing the municipalities of Taglio di Po, Porto Tolle, Porto Viro and Rosolina (all municipalities in the Province of Rovigo).
Each stage starts at 9 in the morning, and participants will walk the stage (running or walking), each according to their abilities. Each stage consists of no less than 20 and no more than 40 km, predominantly flat.
The stage on Sunday 19 October sees the walkers starting at 9 and the runners at 10.
Participants are provided with the GPS track of the stages (the update occurs every evening before the next day) and the route is marked with sufficient vertical and horizontal signs for the normal conduct of the event.
For those who choose the "full experience," the Epica dell'Acqua also includes overnight accommodation the night before the start (the night between Thursday and Friday) and the two subsequent nights (Friday night and Saturday night).
