Stable affections are those consolidated emotional relationships with the people closest to you. Life, however, teaches us that just around the corner, lurking, there is always someone or something that could undermine this stability: a lover? A not-so-good friend? A not-so-close relative? A not-so-serious boyfriend?
In this show, we realize how precious and at the same time difficult it is to maintain genuine relationships, how fragile the affections we consider "stable" can be, and how little it takes for them to reveal themselves as "unstable." “Normal” yet quirky characters find themselves in everyday but paradoxical situations. But in the end, upon closer inspection, unstable affections are part of these “unstable times” where the world is an open construction site where everything changes quickly. All we can do is observe, with irony, the transformation, imagining what is yet to come.
