A show that is an unmissable and overwhelming journey into the art of one of the greatest composers of the twentieth century: Ennio Morricone.
The Maestro needs no introduction: his trophy cabinet contains not only two Oscars, but also three Grammy Awards, four Golden Globes, six BAFTAs, ten David di Donatello awards, eleven Nastri d'Argento awards, two European Film Awards, a Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement and a Polar Music Prize, with more than 70 million records sold worldwide. His compositions have captivated entire generations and spanned various musical genres, making him the most important composer of soundtracks of all time.
The challenge was, if anything, to pay tribute to him in a different way than usual.
The instrumental protagonist of the concert will be the prestigious Ensemble Le Muse, which can boast important international awards won thanks to this cultural project based on the figure of Maestro Morricone.
The musical guest of the evening will be the soothing voice of Angelica Depaoli, who will bring to life the magical atmospheres of those films that have marked the history of Italian cinema.
At the piano will be the creator and soul of Le Muse, Maestro Andrea Albertini, who will guide the audience through the Maestro's career, telling us the “stories” behind these unforgettable pieces of music, enriching each piece with anecdotes, curiosities and historical notes.
