On summer evenings, the squares of Cavallino-Treporti become meeting places, storytelling, and performances with the fourth edition of the Festival “La Piazza delle Arti”. The showcase, dedicated to theater, dance, and performing arts, brings the audience in contact with different languages, capable of uniting movement, comedy, acrobatics, and theatrical tradition.
Under the artistic direction of Alessio Nardin, the Festival offers events that encompass various forms of scenic expression. Contemporary circus interacts with aerial dance and fire, while Commedia dell’Arte rediscovers the strength of masks, gestures, and characters that have animated the stage for centuries. Completing the journey, comedy opens an immediate and shared space, where theater meets the audience with lightness and intelligence.
The squares thus become open-air stages, embedded in the life of the localities and capable of transforming a summer evening into an opportunity for cultural participation. The events are free and take place in various locations throughout the area. In case of bad weather, the performances will be held at the Teatro Hall of Ca’ Savio.
