The National Museum Collection Salce in Treviso continues its tribute to Renato Casaro and, at the San Gaetano venue, inaugurates on December 19 the third thematic monograph dedicated to the Master, the first since his passing. Following the exhibitions dedicated to comedy and western, the new show addresses one of the most visionary genres that marked his work: fantasy and science fiction.
From December 19, 2025, to March 29, 2026, original sketches, preparatory drawings, and study materials will be on display, documenting Casaro's creative process and his extraordinary ability to transform cinematic imagination into iconic images. The works tell of fantastic worlds, legendary heroes, and epic adventures, capturing the essence of films that defined an era.
Among the works presented, the sketches made for Flash Gordon, The NeverEnding Story, Momo, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, and the films Conan the Barbarian and Conan the Destroyer stand out, showcasing an artistic language capable of moving naturally between myth, dream, and science fiction.
The exhibition is open from Friday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Admission is charged.
