Camping Comelico nestles in the lush green pastures of Val Comelico along the banks of the historic river Piave. The camp site was designed to provide maximum peace and relaxation: there are 200 pitches on grassy ground with perfectly arranged trees, columns to distribute electricity located in every pitch, a sauna, a bar, a television room, a recently added large hall for musical evenings, a children’s playground, five a side football, ping pong and video games, a reception with ample parking, free showers with hot water and facilities with disabled access, washing machines, dryers and a camper service. During the summer season there are lots of opportunities to make friends: trumps and scopone card tournaments, children’s’ games and evenings with live music featuring the best folk groups in the area. The excursion possibilities are also endless among the lush forests and trails of Val Frison, Val Grande, Val Popera and the marvellous Val Visdende, a popular place with Pope John Paul II with all its natural splendour. In the winter on the other hand you can do cross-country skiing and alpine skiing on the slopes and trails in the area where many famous skiing champions once raced such as Maurilio De Zolt, Silvio Fauner and Pietro Piller Cottrer. The icing on the cake- we are a campsite that can boast its family and small town atmosphere and discreet and courteous service as one of its strengths.
