QUATTRO FONTANE

The charming Albergo Quattro Fontane is built on the site where, between 1573 and 1575, following the plan of Gian Antonio Rusconi and collaboration of Andrea Palladio, the patrician Daniele Pisani constructed the first "casino" on the Lido dedicated to the country delights and learned conversations of the Venetian aristocracy. During the 19th century this "casino" became a tavern and then between 1905 and 1926 was transformed into a hotel, inspired by the "chalet" and "cottage" styles. The Hotel Quattro Fontane, a period residence on Venice's Lido, offers every comfort and convenience to satisfy the traveler's needs: it is located a few meters from the beach and the "Palazzo del Cinema", where congresses and the famous Venice Film Festival take place, and just 20 minutes’ walk from the "vaporetto" stop leading to St. Mark's Square.
