In San Rocco di Piegara, where the first pastures of Lessinia open up, you will find Hotel Cristina. It is an excellent starting point for walks and excursions in the Lessinia Natural Park and, given its proximity to the plain, it serves well as a base for those wishing to visit Verona. Just a short walk away are the Grotta di Roverè Mille and the first Museum of the Forest in Roverè Veronese, as well as the beautiful Valle delle Sfingi with the Covolo di Camposilvano.

All of our rooms were designed to overlook the surrounding nature, with some of them having a view that goes all the way to lake Garda. We opted for an interior design that aims to offer everything that is needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Casa Leon d’Oro, located in the historic center of Bosco Chiesanuova on the Lessini Mountains, is a family-run establishment that offers the opportunity to spend moments of pure relaxation, combined with the folklore of this magical territory where hospitality and tradition reign.

Cooking and offering hospitality are ways of telling a story. Ours dates back to the time in which Velo Veronese was the ancient head township of the Tredici Comuni Veronesi, on the mountain called Lessinia. Our great-grandparents began what our grandparents and parents have passed down to us. We are the children of this history, of this land, and of these people and their traditions.

Malga Lessinia is a historic landmark of present-day Lessinia with a vast history behind it. Originally built to host troops and financiers serving along the Austro-Hungarian border during World War I, it is located only a few hundred meters away. With the conclusion of the war, and following a period of disuse, around 1945 the structure was repurposed to serve as a malga for grazing. Today, cheese is processed here and products are sold. Since the 2000s, dining services have been added to this activity.
