Valle Imperina Mining Centre

The Valle Imperina Mining Centre, located in the municipality of Rivamonte Agordino (BL), in the heart of the Belluno Dolomites, is an important part of Italy's historical industrial heritage, as a testimony to mining activity that lasted almost six centuries. This site, once a hub for copper mining and processing, has undergone several historical phases, in a shift from pillar of the local mining industry to an almost forgotten area.

Valle Averto Oasis

 

Valle Averto natural oasis extends for nearly 200 ha on the southern part of the Venetian lagoon in the locality of Lugo di Campagna Lupia. It is a biotope that was commissioned to be managed by the WWF. Its international importance has been acknowledged by the Ministry of the Environment and it is on the list of "fishing valleys", or lagoon wetlands which for centuries have been used for lagoon fish breeding.

The G. Lorenzoni Botanical Gardens

The G. Lorenzoni Alpine Botanical Gardens are in a central position with respect to the Cansiglio plateau. On a calcareous area of approximately 3 ha, the Garden accommodates the flora and vegetation of the Cansiglio-Col Nudo-Cavallo massif, a complex of diverse environments, meadows, humid places, rocks and woodland. This extensive area surrounding the garden is highly complex and therefore potentially suitable for accommodating diverse habitats.

The Park of the Talking Trees

Set among the greenery of Villa Manfrin “Margherita”, a few kilometres from the historic centre of the walled city of Treviso, Parco degli Alberi Parlanti - the Park of the Talking Trees - is a multimedia theme park for families, schools and children of all ages.
The park offers numerous interactive educational trails, educational workshops, multimedia installations and immersive activities, where visitors can learn while having fun.

Il Montello

Montello is a hill having red soil in the form of a huge ellipse; it stands isolated and clearly delineated, south of the current course of the Piave River. The entire area was the theater of bloody battles in the First World War and various military monuments have remained to bear witness to the history, such as the Ossuary of the Fallen Soldiers, the Monument to Francesco Baracca, the War Museum and the English War Cemetery.
 

Prosecco Circular Route

Fifteen kilometres of renowned and evocative hillside towns in the municipality of Valdobbiadene to discover the wine and gastronomic culture of this beautiful land. We are talking about the Anello del Prosecco Superiore (Prosecco Superiore Ring), a historical nature trail.

Euganean Hills

These hills of volcanic origin, south of Padua, form a natural oasis which emerges from the flat landscape of the Po Valley concealing ancient villages and artistic and historic monuments among its dense forests and breathtaking scenery. Abano and Montegrotto lie at the foot of the hills a short distance apart. These towns, renowned for the extraordinary healing properties of their mud and water since Roman times, together form one of the most famous spa resorts in the world.
 

The Prince's Path

The path is the ideal circular route linking the literary sites included in the "Literary Park of the Este Hill": from the Castle of the Troubadours that sang Beatrice, to the Arco del Falconetto del Cornaro patron of the Ruzante; from the Villa ex Kunkler, in which Shelley composed some of his most important works, up to Calaone, with a possible detour to the former Convent of Salarola.

The High Tobacco Road

This itinerary is often also referred to as the "Dispersed Museum of the High Tobacco Road", with the idea of going beyond the simple hike in order to understand its function as a high-altitude link between the settlements and terraces, enabling the inhabitants to enjoy the minimum social life that hard work allowed.
