Villa Sandi, Sernagiotto, Cassis

Villa Sandi, historic Venetian villa inspired by Palladio, stands in the heart of the Prosecco area. Below the villa, suggestive underground cellars stretch out, the ideal environment for the maturation and aging of wines. Here, bottles of the Classic Method sparkling wine Opere Trevigiane are refined, while wines destined for aging rest in the barrel rooms.

The villa is part of a historical complex that also includes the barchesse, the garden, and sculptures by Orazio Marinali. The interiors preserve stuccos, bas-reliefs, and Murano chandeliers, and, according to the historical memory of the property, hosted characters such as Antonio Canova and Napoleon Bonaparte over time.

Today, Villa Sandi is home to the winery of the same name and can be discovered through guided tours and tasting experiences by reservation. The tour takes you through the villa, the ancient barrel room, and the underground galleries, allowing one to learn about both the history of the residence and the winemaking of the estate.

In Valdobbiadene, Villa Sandi also welcomes visitors to its estate in the heart of the historical production area of Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG, while the experience related to the territory continues through the other realities of the property.
