Comelico, cross-coutry skiing in the valley of champions

The Comelico Valley is home to over 30 kilometres of trails that wind their way around the stunning tourist circuit, starting from the Cross-Country Skiing Stadium and reaching all the way up to Val Grande, following the beautiful sloping fir trees dating back centuries and even passing by the “Terme delle Dolomiti” spa, in the magnificent Padola di Comelico Superiore valley.

Snowshoes Cinque Torri

Rif. Scoiattoli acts as an excellent lookout point onto the Cinque Torri not far below; after having taken in the view walk left towards the small leaning Torre Inglese. Walk through the tunnel formed by the Torre Quarta Alta and Bassa to enter a labyrinth of twisted, broken towers and pinnacles. These are the remains of the giant prehistorical collapse of Monte Averau high above. These enormous rocks have continued to fracture and break up throughout time to create the current, fantastic formations.

Walled cities in the province of Treviso

The route starts from Asolo, with the majestic Rocca fortress, the Castello della Regina Cornaro, the Palazzo della Ragione and the Cathedral. Castelfranco Veneto pays homage to his illustrious son, Giorgione, through the Museum bearing his name and the Cathedral with the extremely famous artwork "Madonna and Child Enthroned". Within the twelfth century walls there is also the Teatro Accademico.

The Garda Hinterland

The Verona Garda hinterland offers numerous opportunities for short trips by motorcycle: you can live a day in the open air in all seasons but perhaps the best season is autumn, to admire the rich colours. Visit places rich in culture and taste typical local dishes and excellent wines.

Shrine of the Madonna of the Belt

In the first half of the sixteen century the town of Bovolone (in the province of Verona) became an important pilgrimage destination as a result of the strong popular devotion to a marble statue of the Madonna and Jesus child on a throne (both wearing a belted tunic thus giving this name to the Shrine).

According to historical chronicles, there were so many votes, offerings and votive panels donated to the Virgin that it was decided to build a church, completed in 1650 and known from then on as the Shrine of the Madonna of the Belt.
