Prosecco Circular Route
Fifteen kilometres of renowned and evocative hillside towns in the municipality of Valdobbiadene to discover the wine and gastronomic culture of this beautiful land. We are talking about the Anello del Prosecco Superiore (Prosecco Superiore Ring), a historical nature trail.
Tour of Civetta
Civetta is a mountain that evokes historic mountaineering feats and famous mountain bike races. Not everyone knows, however, that a wonderful cycle route winds its way through the challenging Passo Duran and Forcella Staulanza, whose climbs have often featured in the Giro d'Italia.
The starting point is in Forno di Zoldo, one of the three villages in the municipality of Valle di Zoldo, the cradle of artisanal ice cream. The route begins with a pleasant climb through villages and hamlets rich in culture and tradition.
Tour of the Marmolada
The Giro della Marmolada tackles two of the most challenging climbs in the Dolomites, often featured in the Giro d'Italia: the Fedaia Pass and the San Pellegrino Pass. The tour circles the perimeter of the Queen of the Dolomites, linking the upper Agordino region with the Val di Fassa.
The Grand Tour of the Dolomites
Lake Alleghe provides a spectacular backdrop to the start of the Gran Tour delle Dolomiti. This is a challenging yet deeply rewarding route, not least because of the beauty of the places it passes through and their historical and natural significance. Heading up the Cordevole Valley, you reach Arabba along a stretch of the “Strada delle Dolomiti”, from where, looking south, you can admire the Marmolada and its glacier.
General Giardino Ascent: Bassano del Grappa – Cima Grappa
The Salita Generale Giardino, the legendary climb from Bassano to Cima Grappa, is a route brimming with charm and breathtaking views that is every bit as impressive as the great Alpine ascents. Bassano del Grappa has hosted the Giro d’Italia on numerous occasions and boasts a long sporting tradition.
From Cortina d'Ampezzo to the Three Peaks of Lavaredo
The area around Cortina d'Ampezzo and the Tre Cime di Lavaredo offers a truly unique setting for cycling; every pedal stroke is made easier by the sensation of taking in incredible, extraordinary, unique, and unforgettable views.
Tour of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene
This route, which is also suitable for less experienced cyclists, follows the brand-new route of the Granfondo Prosecco Cycling, a premier autumn event in the heart of Prosecco country. In this land of rolling hills embroidered with dense vineyards where Italy’s most famous sparkling wine is produced, cycling has always been embraced with particular passion and enthusiasm.
Road bike
In spring, when meadows and woods are covered in bright green, the streets of Veneto turn pink to host one of the most famous stage races in the world: the Giro d'Italia. From the roads at the bottom of the valley to the Dolomite passes, bike enthusiasts and locals start up a party to support the undertakings of cycling champions. After the party, the streets and scenery remain at the disposal of sports tourists, from beginners to enthusiasts, who can find a wide variety of offers. To prepare for the sports season, the hills of Verona, Vicenza and Treviso offer ideal solutions even in winter. Summer is the season for cycling on steep climbs and mountain passes: from Monte Baldo overlooking Lake Garda, to the Monti Lessini, from the ascents towards the Asiago Plateau to the ten ascents to the Grappa Massif, from Valbelluna to the legendary passes of the Belluno Dolomites. To restore your energy in the autumn, what could be better than the ‘Terme e Bike’ (spa plus cycling) proposal on the Euganean Hills?
Euganean Hills
These hills of volcanic origin, south of Padua, form a natural oasis which emerges from the flat landscape of the Po Valley concealing ancient villages and artistic and historic monuments among its dense forests and breathtaking scenery. Abano and Montegrotto lie at the foot of the hills a short distance apart. These towns, renowned for the extraordinary healing properties of their mud and water since Roman times, together form one of the most famous spa resorts in the world.
The Colli Berici
Gentle hills with soft silhouettes and extremely white stone, the Colli Berici are characterized by pristine nature and are practically a huge oasis abounding in scenery and architectural beauty. But the particular attraction of the Colli Berici is found in its calcareous rock which, being subjected to the karstic phenomenon, models the lands and creates fascinating views.
