At the summit of Mount Rite

This snowshoe walk takes you to one of the most breathtaking and picturesque places in the Belluno Dolomites. In fact, the great South Tyrolean mountaineer, Reinhold Messner, once defined Mount Rite as “the most interesting observation point in the entire Dolomite area”, and who can blame him?

Up Mount Piana

This is a medium-difficulty excursion that takes you to one of the most scenic and exciting locations in the Veneto Dolomites. You can leave your car at the small car park next to Lake Antorno, 1,866 metres above sea level (or at one of the car parks a little further down). Take path ‘CAI 122’ which, on a slight slope, climbs up to Forcella Bassa (1,880 m a.s.l.) and then on to Forcella Auta (1,984 m a.s.l.).

Val d'Oten with snowshoes

This easy route starts from Praciadelàn, just above the village of Calalzo di Cadore, and follows the CAI path no. 255 (which is accessible for off-road vehicles in summer). The route goes up the long scree slope of Val d'Oten, a long valley that separates the Marmarole mountain chain from the imposing Antelao massif, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Val d'Oten

The Val d'Oten is a long valley that separates the Marmarole chain from the mighty Antelao massif. An extensive, still wild, and sometimes inaccessible area, it is a popular destination for lovers of outdoor excursions in nature. It is also ideal for relaxing walks and pleasant picnics in the assigned areas. You reach this valley from the centre of Calalzo.

The Caglieron caves

The complex of the Caglieron caves is located in the resort of Breda di Fregona, near Vittorio Veneto; it consists of a very deep gorge cut into the calcareous rock of the Caglieron torrent, and of a series of man-made caves in the canyon walls.

Ring of Chestnut

The province of Belluno offers an infinite number of proposals for undemanding naturalistic itineraries to do with the children.

This path winds through the area of Costa Solana and Case Biasetto, through one of the most beautiful and best preserved stretches of Feltre countryside, and partially overlaps the thematic itinerary Chiesette Pedemontane.

Shrine of St Augusta

The Shrine of St Augusta at Serravalle, the ancient part of Vittorio Veneto (province of Treviso), is the final spot of an interesting journey, to make on foot, which starts from the Via Calcada, behind the apse of the Serravalle Cathedral. From here you ascend a monumental stairway built on the ruins of the ancient town gate "Porta del Terraglio", demolished in 1931. It takes around half an hour, going steadily, to reach the top.

Abbey of Follina

Follina, a small town at the foot of the Trevis-Belluno Prealps, is a focal point of the religious tourism circuit that leads to the discovery of places rich in spirituality and devotion and of great artistic value.

Here you will find one of the most beautiful holy buildings in Veneto: the Abbey of Santa Maria.
